MARCO MARCHIONNI RETURNS TO PARMA – 14 September 2012

Our former player, Marco Marchionni is returns to Parma and will be FC Parma player again.

The club announces that it has signed an agreement with the player until 30 June 2013.

The presentation will be held on Monday 17 September in the press room of the Tardini stadium.

The time will be communicated later.

Marchionni (Monterotondo, 22/07/80) is already at the Coach Donadoni and staff’s plan and will wear the number 32 shirt, the same one he wore during his first experience in the yellow and blue jersey.

In fact, Marchionni has already played in Parma from 2001 to 2006 (with a loan period in Piacenza from January to June 2003).

With Parma, he played in 112 appearances and scored 13 goals in the league, 18 appearances and 4 goals in the UEFA Cup as well as 7 appearances and 2 goals in the Italian Cup (trophy won in the 2001-2002 season).

With the Parma shirt he also won his first call-up to the national team in November 2003.

Marchionni plays for Parma betweet 2001 to 2006 before heading to Juventus in Serie B.

With Juventus, Marchionni won the Serie B trophy in 2007 and got promoted to Serie A.

On 2009, Fiorentina agreed to sign Marchionni from Juventus.

Today, after 3 years in Fiorentina, Marchionni’s contract is expires and rejoins Parma once again.
